El Tamiso organic cookies, good... but not only!!
THE FLOURS — these delicious biscuits are made with the flours produced by our members and stone-ground by the
La Grande Ruota di Sermide mill (our historic collaborator). They are the result of research and selection of the
best ancient grains, or “original” varieties of wheat that have not undergone artificially induced genetic variation.
These are the flours used:
MONOCOCCUS SPELT - the ancestor of all wheat, seems to be the first cultivated wheat species (VIII-VII millennia BC)
GENTLE ROSSO - it is a soft wheat originating in the mid-1800s, between the 1920s and the 1930s the most cultivated variety
PIAVE E ME NTANA — spread mainly in Veneto until the early 1900s, supplanted by more productive selections
CORN — for the cookies, the mill sieved the foil, the “finer” part obtained by stone-grinding “Maranello” corn
COLLABORATION — for the transformation, we have relied on a historic laboratory located between the Berici and Euganean hills, Biogovinda, whose peculiarity is the choice of a production without the use of animal products, therefore VEGAN!
