We are a cooperative of agricultural producers who have been exclusively practicing organic agriculture since the beginning of the 80s.
“El Tamiso” in Paduan, “the sieve” in Italian, is the kitchen tool that sifts flours. A tool representative of the philosophy of the Cooperative, which was created trying to “filter” the good ideas on which to base its business.
And that even today continues to offer foods and values “chosen” based on respect for the environment, traditions and local and cultural characteristics. It has therefore become the symbol of this continuous attention to quality, of food as of life.
The activity
Our main purpose is the organization of the production and sale of our members' products. We also sell organic products from various other non-member suppliers present throughout Italy with whom over the years we have established relationships of mutual trust. This allows us to have a satisfactory range of products throughout the year and thus be able to make the most of our members' products. We also provide technical assistance and provide training courses, information and direct promotion to consumers.
The method
The choice of the organic farming method that we promote and disseminate, is above all a cultural choice, dictated by the desire to be able to express economic and productive models that translate into respect for the work of farmers and the land they cultivate.
The place
A direct consequence of these intentions is the enhancement of local organic products (37 of the approximately 50 members are from Veneto), their historical and social link with the territory while respecting the seasonality and the vocation of the individual production areas. In particular, the collaboration with the G.A.S. Solidarity Purchasing Groups, which have always been attentive to the principles of seasonality, origin and quality of the products offered, goes in particular.
Certification
We only deal with products from certified organic agriculture.
Quality
The quality of the offer goes hand in hand with the seriousness of the companies with which we collaborate.
Velocity
The speed of the service is a fundamental prerogative for us. The order is taken over and processed the next day.
Freshness
The product rotation index is very high and guarantees freshness for the consumer.

The organic agricultural cooperative El Tamiso was founded in May 1984 when a group of producers and agricultural technicians tried to build an economic reality based on mutual relationships and environmental sustainability, very different from the dominant economic model. This type of approach continues today and is more relevant than ever given the challenges that climate change imposes on us.
