PADUAN BROCCOLI WITH BARLEY

INGREDIENTS

300 g Paduan broccoli, 100 g barley, 1 carrot, 2 celery ribs, 1 onion, 1 clove of garlic, a liter and a half cold water, 3 tablespoons olive oil, chilli pepper, salt.

PROCEDURE

Make a 'sauté' with onion, celery, carrot, garlic, chilli pepper. Add the thinly sliced broccoli leaves. Add the barley, cold water and salt. Cook for about 1 hour on low heat.
