the result of the commitment of the Le 4 Contrade Organic Farm which has been guarding and cultivating ancient varieties of almond trees for generations, in Andria, in Puglia.
In a historically “bitter” land, we support artisanal agriculture committed to regenerating the territory and protecting the communities that they inhabit.
Our Genco almond was born from this project with an ancient, authentic, and romantic flavor of Puglia.
The Genco variety is a fairly vigorous, rustic, drought-resistant tree, with an expanded growth habit and with high and constant productivity, without special requirements.

10% of the land (out of 300 hectares) is dedicated to biodiversity. In what way? Some of the uncultivated land scattered around the farm gives flora and fauna the opportunity to express themselves: bees, essential for the pollination of almond flowers, can find their habitat; like many insects useful for the well-being of vineyards and almond orchards.
The strong flavor of white flowers and toasted sesame is combined with the pleasantly bitter aftertaste (typical of the variety) which is round on the palate, balanced and very persistent.The Genco variety is a fairly vigorous, rustic, drought-resistant tree, with an expanded growth habit and with high and constant productivity, without special requirements.
