Giuseppe Chilin's passion for agriculture was born in the agricultural school desks, and, after a brief period as a gardener, he decided in 2014 to start the business that he now leads to Legnaro.
After overcoming the efforts of the first years, due to inexperience and poor mechanization, the company takes shape, the first agricultural machines begin to be seen and production increases and improves in quality.
The sales channel of the early years (but which continues today) are the markets (Wednesday in Cadoneghe and Saturday in Guizza) where zucchini, leeks and variegated chicory “branded” Chilin are really appreciated. Over time, the experience of Giuseppe also increases, who leases other land in San'Angelo di Piove di Sacco and others would be needed to improve the practice of crop rotations or to let other plots rest for some time.
It has never been a doubt for Giuseppe what type of agriculture to do, immediately organic and the motivations make us think: “many of the conventional producers in the area that supply the Padua supermarkets do not consume what they produce and practically everyone has their own vegetable garden that they obviously cultivate with other criteria. I chose organic farming to make sure that what I produce is a healthy product that can be eaten by me and everyone else.”
