Giuseppe Bregolato

A frank and sincere person Giuseppe “Bepi” Boregolato is a well-known face in the city.

In fact, for years he conducted, together with Eleonora, Lele and Luca, the historic banquet of “El Tamiso” in Piazza delle Erbe (in addition to the Abano banquet on Wednesday), where (even today) there are his company's products, in particular wine, vegetable products and, great news, millet, a cereal recovered by the Cooperative after centuries of local abandonment, and produced for the first time in 2011 in the company of Bepi. His story as a farmer began in the mid-80s when, after almost twenty years as a metalworker, he decided to continue to cultivate the plot that his father had led there.
He immediately embraced the philosophy of organic agriculture and, at the end of the 80s, he came into contact with the El Tamiso Cooperative, becoming its member, contributing as a board member and as head of direct sales banquets.

The homonymous farm that leads to Torreglia, at the foot of the Euganean Hills, consists of three plots of about one hectare, each of which one is entirely dedicated to vineyards, another is used for the production of ancient cereals (millet, wheat...) and the last, the one in which it resides, also partly a vineyard, is cultivated with various vegetables, mainly legumes such as peas, beans and green beans and crucifers such as broccoli and broccoli from Padua.
