The Casanova e Destrotti farm is located east of the Verona hills, where the prestigious vineyards of Soave and Valpolicella are located. On the same volcanic land, small pearls of goodness are born: the dwarf green peas called Bisi de Colognola.
In addition to the soil, rich in basalts, exposure to the sun also plays a fundamental role: the volcanic ridges of Colognola allow crops to be exposed to light from dawn to dusk. Cultivating in the hills is more challenging, but the excellent results pay off the hard work.
Giuseppe and Roberta, coming from fields very different from that of agriculture, in 2013 decided to take over the family winery and started from the cultivation of the famous “Bisi”.
Initially Giuseppe embarked on a journey into the organic world only with the aim of differentiating himself at a commercial level, and then becoming a real responsible lifestyle choice with regard to his own health, that of others and nature.
Many vegetables and fruits are grown on the farm, there is a company store and a laboratory for processing and gastronomy. Giuseppe can often be found in the local markets of the city of Verona. In 2024, Roberta and her husband inaugurated the Corte Cea farmhouse, born from the renovation of an old stable and barn, for a 360° experience.
