After years of exchanging fruit and vegetables in particular, here is the pasta I Frutti del Sole.
Obtained from the fragrant wheat of the
Madonie, a magnificent mountainous area in the north of
Sicily, suitable for the production of durum wheat, it is packaged by the cooperative following a traced and controllable supply chain.
All things that contribute to true excellence, a rough paste obtained by slow drying and bronze drawing, produced directly on site.
Values that we no longer find in commonly marketed Italian pasta (in many cases even organic) so it is estimated that about 50% of the wheat used is produced abroad.
Excellent alternative to durum wheat, corn and rice pasta, strictly
“gluten-free” and therefore suitable for the diet of those suffering from
celiac disease. It is obtained with organic corn, cultivated in Sicily by members and organic rice from selected companies in the Pavia area.
