The company was founded in 2005 with the production of wild arugula for the fourth range.
Over the years they have realized the need to diversify production by increasing the number of vegetable species cultivated first with tomatoes, then peppers and eggplants and gradually all the main vegetables. Therefore, expanding the production of vegetables in all seasons, also exploiting part of the areas covered by greenhouses and the natural resources that nature has made available to them (natural hot water well and proximity to the sea) that allow the cultivation of products in traditionally more difficult periods and to manage crops for longer

times.

Since 2011 they have opened a small shop where they sell products directly for three days a week, even if most of the production is dedicated to specialized stores and tourist-hotel activities in Friuli Venezia Giulia.

Since 2012 we have been collaborating with the El Tamiso Cooperative and since 2018 we have become members and to which we entrust practically all the production of our fields. The main reflection was to put the different capacities on the table: we are good at producing some products at certain times of the year but not at selling and we are very small. We thought that there could be a mutual advantage both for us and for the Cooperative to try to collaborate and for this reason we asked to be allowed to be admitted. For us, the experience is definitely stimulating and positive.”

“We chose the organic farming method for the following reasons:

  1. Organic production makes it possible to better safeguard the entire environment in which we live in all its complexity and in all its diversity;
  2. The desire to be growers and consumers of healthy food;
  3. The will and the firm choice to sell people genuine and healthy nourishment so as not to betray Mother Earth and the people who place their trust in us;
  4. Learning to observe and read nature and in part to understand it is far more fun than “solving” problems by flooding the environment with pesticides and fertilizers;
  5. Organic farming makes us free!
