A classic direct farmer, it is the result of generations of farmers who have always been known in Pernumia as the “Girotto family”.
The first approach to the organic world took place in the early 80s when, in the absence of legislation on this method of cultivation, the two brothers Bruno and Luciano started experimenting with the University of Padua for the production of fruit without the use of chemicals.
This step marks a definitive 'field choice' for the Bozza family, which in effect becomes a company that embraces the method of organic cultivation. From here to Coop El Tamiso, the step is short, also given Bruno's approach, which has always been open to the outside world in a cooperative key, so much so that Bruno himself only a few years ago held the position of vice-president of the cooperative. In recent years, the company has been followed by his son Simone, also for a term on the board of directors, and his wife Mariana, who brought her experiences from the Moldovan countryside as well as having been, in the cooperative, a valid collaborator for the creation of fruit and vegetable boxes for GAS.
Today, the company is a reference point for organic farming in Pernumia, an area dedicated to fruit production that in recent years has been opening up to highly specialized horticulture: leeks, asparagus and radicchio.
