Carlo, Matteo and Alberto Galeaz are three brothers, pioneers of el biologico since 1982 in the mountains of Dembel in Trentino.
The three brothers paid extreme attention to the initial choice of land, looking for them away from other conventional growers to avoid the phenomenon of drift (i.e. the possible contamination of chemicals from neighboring land cultivated with conventional methods) and, when this possibility presented itself over time, they had already formed natural barriers with the planting of hedges.
The work is cyclical and very demanding, especially for the control of weeds in land that is not exactly... flat: in January the plants are pruned, from March to April the soil is enriched in organic matter with fertilization and tillage, and from September onwards the harvest begins, bringing these delicious apples to our tables that we can bite into without any risk of ingesting anything other than the fruit of the plant.
