Until 2004, employed in a power plant as a quadrista, Francesco Carraro always found time for his true passion, cultivating the land.
The shifts in the power plant left him a few days off that Francesco occupied, starting to cultivate the hectare of land in front of his house. His passion for agriculture was growing and so was the time available when, precisely in 2004, he retired.
In the meantime, after a traditional approach, confronting other farmers, Francesco approaches the organic farming method and, since 1992, he began to have contacts with the cooperative El Tamiso, of which he later became a member. Over time he refines his knowledge and now gives excellent leeks, radicchi and crucifers, in addition to having increased the arable area to 4 hectares.
