Francesca, the host of Fuori Porta, writes us her impressions of the three dinners that the co-op El Tamiso and the Osteria di Fuori Porta have organized, making diners and producers sit in front of a themed menu. He does not tell us in his lines, but it is a fact that we like to emphasize, that the evenings were very popular (always
sold out) and that the initiative undoubtedly proved to be a success.

Osteria di Fuori Porta and the agricultural cooperative El Tamiso organized the events of “The Time Table — Study, Recovery, Preserve, Savor the Value of Knowledge...”, a small series of themed dinners with producers, who have featured some products from our territory that we frequently use in the kitchen without but know its history, varieties and characteristics.
Each evening was attended by some guests, producers or agronomists, who were able to win the attention of the participants (despite hunger...) with explanations and photos. The evening menu has been specially designed by the Osteria to let you experiment with the flavors and textures of the different varieties of radicchio, broccoli and cabbage and cereals.
On the one hand, these meetings want to make consumers more aware of what they eat and on the other hand to give Tamiso the opportunity to disseminate, even among those who are not in the sector, the
EcoTipi project, a path of study, recovery, revaluation and multiplication of some varieties of ancient and local seeds.”
