Referendum drivelle April 17: let's give a signal!

The date of the April 17 referendum is approaching, asking voters to permanently stop drilling at sea. In this way, it will be possible to permanently protect Italian territorial waters. Specifically, we ask to cancel the rule that allows oil companies to search for and extract gas and oil within 12 nautical miles from the Italian coast without time limits. Although, in fact, oil companies can no longer apply for new concessions in the future to extract at sea within 12 miles, the research and oil activities already in progress would no longer have a certain deadline. If we want to permanently protect our seas from oil activities, we must vote 'Yes' in the referendum. In this way, oil activities will gradually cease, according to the 'natural' deadline set at the time the concessions were issued.
As a cooperative, we decided to support the referendum and to invite our customers to reflect on the issue with this communication:
Dear customers, young and old, on the occasion of the now forthcoming Referendum to stop drilling in our seas, although limited in effect, but very important in substance, we believe that those who have made the choice of “organic” as a lifestyle and work must support the reasons for the “YES” to the repeal of the proposed rule, and in any case the reasons for the VOTE.
It is really curious these days to see how the reasons for “NO” are supported by the “Non-Voting Committee”; it means inviting Citizens not to go and vote, and thus prevent the reasons of others, not for other reasons, but simply by not reaching a “quorum”...
We want to believe that the hundreds of thousands of consumers who approach organic every day are potential voters interested in a model of sustainable development, for the health of man and the environment, as well as for the future of our Company.
A model that is certainly not compatible with this unsustainable choice of oil drilling in our seas.
However, people must be interested and supported in participating in the referendum on 17 April next.
DO WE WANT TO GIVE A SIGNAL TOGETHER?
