Carrot and ginger jam

Immersed in the Val di Gresta, located in the southern part of Trentino between Lake Garda and Monte Baldo, the Toniolli brothers cultivate vegetables typical of the most famous mountain garden in northern Italy such as potatoes, carrots, celeriac and radicchio.

Convinced that organic agriculture is the most sustainable model of agricultural production for the territory in which they live with their families, as well as being respectful of environmental resources, they have long since consolidated, with the Cooperativa El Tamiso, a solid and fruitful collaboration, giving almost all of their vegetables with the “scent of the mountains”.

Here, the excellent quality of the carrots from this Valley has inspired not only fresh consumption but also the transformation of this vegetable into a particular and tasty carrot and ginger jam, excellent for breakfast but also to accompany cheeses.
