What is
El Tamiso was one of the founders of the Humus Network, a social network promoted by various organizations that operate in Italian organic agriculture, and is committed to reaffirming the founding principles of bioagriculture.
Objective
It was designed as a meeting and interaction point, with the main objective of defining and sharing good practices of agrobiological production and the resulting quality productions, practices based on principles and requirements of environmental and social responsibility, aimed at sustainability and solidarity between the various stakeholders.
The network manifesto
The manifesto refers to the principles and values of organic agriculture enshrined by the 2005 IFOAM General Assembly in Adelaide (AUS) and adds others:
- Durable and sustainable development
- Equity of price and of social and economic relations
- Social and territorial responsibility
- Product quality, goodness and flavor of the food
