On the occasion of European Mill Day, the Cooperative organized a special bio-trip, scheduled for Sunday, May 21, at the La Grande Ruota mill in Sermide, in the province of Mantua.
The stone mills of this ancient mill have been relocated to work in a modern structure, allowing us to still benefit today from the very high quality of the derived products.
To guide us in this extraordinary experience, there will also be Alberto Zapparoli, an experienced miller and a great friend of the Cooperative.
After the visit to the mill, there will be a stop in Revere, also in the province of Mantua, to visit the reconstruction of the last floating mill, on the banks of the Po river.
The Amici dei Mulini association and Pro Loco di Revere are waiting for us, then, to share a lavish restorative meal, which precedes the guided tour of the Po Museum, inside the Ducal Palace of Revere, dedicated entirely to the history and finds of this great river, the father of the entire Po Valley.
