For three Sundays (21 April, 19 May, 9 June), the “MiRA 2030” movement proposes the “Let's break the crisis” path given by a series of initiatives aimed at dealing with the economic crisis, intertwining moments of training, information and concrete actions in the area:
“I reject TARES” - debate on waste recycling and the new TARES tax, taking the example of the Ponte nelle Alpi municipality where virtuous waste management has brought self-esteem, jobs and economic advantages to citizens - savings in the bill.
“At the origin of the crisis” — a debate to reflect on alternatives and strategies against debt and austerity measures. In collaboration with the “Option Zero” committee (April 9, 2013, 8.45 p.m., Oriago Library).
FREE EVERYONE... TO TRADE! (1st edition) - a market dedicated to the exhibition, exchange and transfer of personal goods and objects between citizens. A special space will be reserved for the exchange between children and teenagers from the schools of Miranda (21 April 2013, 10 a.m. - 7 p.m., Riviera Silvio Trentin).
SMALL, GOOD AND SOCIAL — a market that will involve small local producers, artisans and farms that will sell only what they produce directly (19 May, 10 a.m. - 7 p.m., Riviera Silvio Trentin).
FREE EVERYONE... TO TRADE! (2nd edition) - a market that will still feature citizens with the goods they wish to exchange or offer but special space will be given to self-production proposals, such as the exchange or sale of products from their garden or the fruits of their personal ingenuity and recovery (June 9, 10 a.m. - 7 p.m., Riviera Silvio Trentin).
During all the markets there will be workshops for adults and children, music and shows. In addition, there is a space available to anyone who wants to present something they particularly like (painting, photo, poem), of their own production or not, to create an open-air collective exhibition of 'recognized artists' alongside 'artists by chance'. Anyone who wishes to participate in the markets by selling, exhibiting, exchanging or bartering their objects and creations, must register no later than Wednesday of the week in which the event takes place (April 17 for the April 21 market, May 15 for the May 19 market, June 5 for the June 9 market). All the necessary information can be found on the website www.mira2030.it. The email address of the events is also active: spiazziamolacrisi@mira2030.it and the Facebook page: mira2030. You can also contact the number 3400838699 (5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.).
Along the same lines as solidarity markets, another 'Mira2030' project (currently under implementation) is taking place, which involves the launch of 'logistic bread', a type of bread produced entirely in the Mirese territory, from the cultivation of wheat, to its grinding, cooking and sale. The “Let's displace the crisis!” path will find its climax in the next, second edition of the largest event organized by Mira2030: Tera Tera Tera with further debates and actions to promote a reflection on lifestyles and to seek new ways to face, online, the problems imposed by the crisis.
