Usual appointment a few weeks before the end of the year to listen to the report on the progress of the Cooperative's activities during 2011. It will be an opportunity to visit the Palazzo della Ragione (also known as Salone, for synecdoche), which was the ancient seat of the city courts of Padua. It was built starting in 1218 and raised in 1306 by Giovanni degli Eremitani, as a place of assembly and court, who gave it the characteristic roof in the shape of an inverted ship's hull. The upper floor is occupied by the largest hanging room in the world, called “Salone” (it measures 81 by 27 meters and has a height of 27 meters) with a wooden ceiling like a ship's hull.
Appointment Sunday, December 11 at 10.30 am under the face of the Palazzo della Ragione (the face of the rope), the porch that connects Piazza dei Frutti to Piazza delle Erbe in Padua, which constituted the real and ancient fruit and vegetable market in Padua until the beginning of the century.
We will then move to the restaurant “La Piccola Trattoria” (in Via Rolando da Piazzola 21) to talk about our cooperative and enjoy a bit of Padua history and a Sardinian menu.
Mandatory and mandatory booking in a cooperative by December 5.
A contribution of 10 euros per person will be requested — free for children.
How to get there: it is advisable to take the tram (Parking at the Pontevigodarzere or South Guizza terminus or the tram also passes through the railway station for those coming by train) and get off at the Riviera Tito Livio stop about 150m from the Palazzo della Ragione (a single ticket costs 1.20€ while a family ticket costs 3€ and is worth 6 hours from validation on pre-holidays and holidays for a group consisting of up to 4 people, including 2 adults and 2 children under 12 years old). Those who cannot do without a car can park in the Via Milano or Piazza Insurrezione area (for a fee).
