The international environmental volunteer day Let's Clean the World landed for the first time in Italy and Padua in 1994. After a decade of cleaning parks and embankments, we decided to transform the event by creating a party to promote the culture of the recovery and reuse of objects, recycling and separate collection. In 2003, the Recovery Festival was born, to which in the following years other related themes were gradually added: first that of energy saving, then that of renewable energy. For some years now, the Legambiente Festival has been taking place in the context of the Volunteer Festival, which, in addition to Piazza dei Signori, involves other squares and streets of the historic center: a great event in which voluntary associations and citizens meet and meet to enrich each other!
