After the success of the spring edition in Prato Della Valle, on Sunday, October 6, the colorful and lively market festival “El Biológico in Piassa” returns to pulsate in the heart of Padua. Numerous innovations are proposed within a tried and tested formula that includes the various banquets of farms, bakers, cheesemakers, all with proposals from organic agriculture and then artisans, fair trade banks and associations.
And so here we are with the news: the biggest concerns precisely the squares that will host the event that moves from Piazza dei Signori to Piazza delle Erbe, without prejudice to Piazza dei Frutti. The choice is justified by a better “continuity” between the various exhibitors, also favored by the extraordinary opening of the spaces under the Hall. And precisely the Palazzo della Ragione will play, not only because of its physical location, a central role. During the day, guided tours of the “Venetkens” exhibition will be organized at a reduced price and for the occasion, the two restaurant proposals, placed at the exits of the “Sotoportego” to each square, will offer dishes based on the dietary model of the Ancient Venetians; finally, the ARC.A.DIA. association will take care of visits to the archaeological excavations of the Palace itself.
Still on the subject of archeology, the laboratory for children proposed by Street Archaeology is interesting, which will allow young researchers to find specially hidden archaeological finds.
Then, always for the little ones, the traditional wooden games that will occupy part of Piazza dei Frutti and most of the children's day are inevitable!
Also interesting is the proposal of the shows with the theater group “Four Noni” which, at 16 in Piazza delle Erbe, will present “Enemies by Nature”, a play that explores human behavior towards nature and, finally, the overwhelming music of the Orkstrada Circus Collective that from 18, always in Piazza delle Erbe, will enliven the party with pizziche, tarantelle and other traditional music.
