Bio-Solidarity Peanuts from Egypt

Agrosourcing is one of our main suppliers of exotic products and a historic importer and processor of the BIO and Fair Trade sector (Biopartenaire/Fair For Life), which started supplying peanuts in 2014 from the Egyptian producer Green Valley, a world reference point for organic peanuts.
Peanuts are grown on the company's own land in a desert area in southwestern Egypt (Owainate desert), 900 km south of Cairo, thanks to controlled irrigation. That type of environment, warm and dry, inhibits the development of mold in the soil and therefore protects against aflatoxin problems. The soil, completely free of chemicals, is naturally rich in minerals.
The fair-trade project developed by Agrosourcing aims to improve the lives of workers in the fields, in the processing plants and in the packaging factory, the development fund will fall directly on the workers thanks to a collective project.
The company produces whole roasted peanuts, peeled raw and peeled roasted and salted peanuts.
