A cement plant will 'embellish' the Euganean Hills Park

The Council of State gave a positive opinion to the construction of a huge cement plant worth 160 million euros in Monselice, in the heart of the Euganean Hills Park, on the shabby ruins of an old cement plant that existed before the park was established.

The ruling overturns the negative opinion expressed by the Regional Administrative Court last May and ignores the rejection of the project by 27 municipalities in the area.
